This program is based in Toowoomba and is delivered in association with the Foster Care programs. It is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of social workers, psychologists and family support workers, and it seeks to provide assessment and therapeutic intervention and support which addresses the behaviours of children and young people that are impacting on the stability of their foster care placement and/or home re-unification process.

Program activities

Primary activities of the program include:

• development of individualised packages and case/service plans for the management of each child/young person engaged in the program

• provision of counselling and intervention related to family re-unification and connectedness

• provision of intensive support and information to primary carers engaged in the program
